Stirling Road, Birmingham

Completed in October 2022 by our Midlands based contractors, this was another building that was in desperate need of updating having been rented out for over 20 years without much improvement.

One of the biggest jobs was replacing the main pitched roof which included the four dormers to the front of the building and then all of the flat roofs to the rear were stripped back, insulated to building regs and new rubber coverings installed. Externally the whole building was rendered in a white silicon finish and all of the guttering, downpipes and soil stacks were replaced.

Internally the 17 apartments were all stripped back, re-wired, new plumbing/drainage, plastered, painted, new LVT flooring fitted and had new kitchens & bathrooms installed. All of the communal spaces were also bought up to the same standard with matching flooring throughout and new doors/woodwork fitted throughout the building.

We completed the project on the exact date we planned and even with some small variations came in just under budget after making some unexpected savings on second fix items. The client is delighted with the finished product and has significantly increased his rental return & building value.
